Wainscott House

Easthampton, NY

A modification to a 1980s contemporary house, a bridge-like corridor connects an existing house to two new bedrooms perched above the backyard. Skylights illuminate this bridge to the new spaces, and a double height volume cuts from the roof down past this bridge to the kitchen, the major social space of the house.
