BA Publishes Research for NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence Program

Bernheimer Architecture has received New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) grants for their River Commons and Penn South projects.This grant allows for research of many carbon reduction strategies to integrate into future projects, reflecting the firm's commitment to climate awareness. 

Both projects explore a range of decarbonization strategies, and places an emphasis on finding cost-efficient solutions to minimize the carbon impact of construction and renovation in New York City affordable housing.
