Beach Green Dunes III wins 2026 AIA Housing Award

Beach Green Dunes III, located in Far Rockaway, Queens has been recognized as one of ten winners of the 2026 AIA Housing award. This award “exemplifies the importance of good housing as a necessity of life, a sanctuary for the human spirit, and a valuable national resource”.

BGDIII features many flood proof elements, such as an elevated first floor and storm swales to protect from potential flooding and severe weather. In addition, 146 affordable housing units sit within this fully electric building, located near the Beach 36th Street MTA Station. 

The building was developed by L&M Development Partners, The Bluestone Organization, and Triangle Equities.
