Marcus Garvey Village Affordable Housing

461 Chester Street is one of three residential buildings developed and constructed by L&M Development Partners as part of the first phase of the Marcus Garvey Extension Project. It is an eight-story building with 130 affordable residences for households earning between 30% and 80% of AMI and another 44 residences of supportive housing for people re-entering the community after incarceration.

In addition to supportive housing services and programming provided by the Osborne Association, at ground floor there are 1,750 square feet of community facility space, a 4,000 sf recreational garden, and common amenities spaces such as a fitness gym and on site laundry.

Construction was completed in late 2020.
